I have heard from several users of issues involving the speed of the site. The site is currently hosted on  the US west coast. Most users in North America and Europe should have acceptable levels of performance.  If there are slowdowns both loading the page and Ncards in your part of the world, please let me know. This is the kind of stuff we want to test in the beta.
I have made some changes to the way the site works that should hopefully speed things up. In particular, I have blocked  hot linking to images other than the Ncard.  This site used to host lots of gifs gathered  from online forums that ended up being using again by others on other forums. This was usually E3 related meltdowns.  People who hotlink to these images now see this:
Ncards should not be affected by this. I have tested it but if your Ncard is replaced by the image above, contact me.
