This spore Ad was spotted by a reader in Boston. It looks like EA is going to really promote this among casuals.
To highlight EA’s push, there is nothing in the Ad indicating this is a game. The text reads:
Could you spare some DNA. Become a donor at spore.com.
This is particularly clever because anyone who is not a gamer might be intrigued enough to check this out and get sucked in.
I live in Boston also, and noticed a lot of Spore ads. If you go to the Harvard Square train station, the WHOLE INSIDE of the train station is plastered with hundreds of Spore ads, I’ll take pictures today if I can.
